“These technology catalogues with accompanying data sheets contain descriptions and data for respectively heavy-duty road transport (trucks and buses) and shipping (cargo ships and ferries), based on different propulsion technologies. In addition, two technology reviews on aviation and non-road provides perspectives on technologies and developments in the sectors.
The catalogue for trucks and buses includes three fuels: 1) diesel, 2) battery electric and 3) hydrogen electric. There are three vehicle categories for trucks and two for buses, with 15 data sheets in total.
The catalogue for cargo ships and ferries includes five propellants: 1) marine diesel, 2) battery electric, 3) hydrogen electric, 4) methanol and 5) ammonia, with a total of 21 data sheets. There are three vessel categories for cargo ships and four for ferries.
The review on aviation includes chapters on 1) conventional aviation, 2) sustainable aviation fuel, 3) battery electric/hybrid electric aircraft and 4) hydrogen (both combustion and fuel cell electric). No data sheets are provided with this report.
The review on non-road transport includes chapters on current on future drive-train technologies for non-road transport, furthermore a focus on construction machinery and on agricultural machinery. No data sheets are provided with this report.
