China: Martin Lidegaard meets with China’s minister of Science and Technology

In connection with his two-day visit to China Martin Lidegaard met with the Chinese minister of Science and Technology, Mr. WAN Gang. The meeting follows up on the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology during the Chinese President’s visit to Denmark in June 2012. The objective of the Memorandum of Understanding is to encourage Sino-Danish partnerships within research and development in relation to renewable energy, energy efficiency and smart grids. In continuation of the meeting the two ministries entered into an agreement providing the framework aiming for a joint call for  proposals for development and demonstration projects in cooperation between the Danish EUDP programme and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology.
