Last year, Danish consumption of coal fell by almost 43%, and now accounts for just 5% of the observed energy consumption. Energy consumption fell by 3.4%, while observed CO2 emissions from energy consumption fell by almost 6%. These are highlights from the preliminary energy statistics for 2019 published by the Danish Energy Agency today.

To follow up on the market dialogue on Thor Offshore Wind Farm held in November 2019, the Danish Energy Agency now publishes answers to questions raised as part of the dialogue on the tender procedures.

The State Statistics Service of Ukraine (SSSU) and the Danish Energy Agency have launched a database covering three decades of previously disconnected energy data. The Vietnam Energy Outlook Report 2019 was presented in Hanoi today. Produced in collaboration between the Danish Energy Agency and the Vietnamese energy authority Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority, it demonstrates how Vietnam can accelerate the country's green transition and achieve emissions savings that exceed decades of Danish emission reductions.
