Invitation for consultation on a Danish pilot tender for solar PV

23. February 2016

The Danish Energy Agency will conduct a pilot tender of price premiums for electricity from 20 MW solar PV in 2016. 2.4 MW of the 20 MW is expected to be open for installations located in Germany. The Danish Energy Agency invites comments and questions on the draft conditions for the pilot tender.

All comments to the draft conditions for the pilot tendering procedure will be taken into consideration in the preperation of the final conditions. Part of the pilot tender will be open for PV installtions located in at least one other EEA country than Denmark which has direct electrical connection to Denmark. As this cooperation needs to be based on a cooperation agreement between the countries, the final content of the tendering conditions, e.g. the type of price premium and other design elements, will reflect relevant considerations necessary for Denmark to enter into a cooperation agreement with the EEA country in question.

The final conditions for the tendering procedure combined with the related documents (contract template, template for bids etc.) will make up the final tender material which will apply when the tender is launched.

Comments and questions to the draft conditions for the pilot tender should be sent to SolarPV@ens.dk no later than 16 March 2016. All questions, comments and answers will be published here on the website.

The Danish Energy Agency will host a dialogue meeting on the draft conditions for the pilot tender procedure on 10 March 2 pm - 4 pm at the Danish Energy Agency in Copenhagen, Denmark. If you wish to participate, please let us know at solarPV@ens.dk
