Invitation to the opening of Arctic Venue on December 12

Arctic Venue opens on Saturday December 12 at 1-3 pm at Nordatlantens Brygge in Copenhagen

Arctic Venue presents more than 30 Danish, Nordic and international institutions and organisations with expertise in the Arctic jointly presenting an updated insight into the physical changes in the Arctic, the living conditions, the science in the Arctic and other aspects. 

From December 12th to 18th Arctic Venue presents exhibitions, documentary films and lectures and other events – open to all visitors in Copenhagen during the COP 15 – an easy and appealing access to the vital information on the Arctic in a warming world. 

The opening venue will take place on Saturday December 12, 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Nordatlantens Brygge in Copenhagen

The opening session on December 12th will be introduced by the Chair of the Arctic Council Lars Møller and features leading scientist and also eye-witnesses to climate change from Northern Greenland. 

The opening session will be in English. See programme at your right.
