The Chinese Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Danish Energy Agency signed the 2015 Work Programme on energy efficiency in buildings on 15 December 2014 in Beijing.
Energinet.dk participated on 4 December in a Chinese seminar to discuss power system flexibility and investment in generation capacity along with key Chinese actors in the power sector.
China National Renewable Energy Centre has together with the Danish Energy Agency, the Children's Investment Fund Foundation and the US National Renewable Energy Laboratory defined a five-year program to assist the implementation of the Chinese energy revolution. The new program was launched on 16 December 2014 in Beijing.
The Sino-Danish Renewable Energy Development Program has supported 12 research projects between Chinese and Danish research institutes, universities and companies. As the program is being concluded by the end of December 2014 all the projects are now being finalised.
CCTV visited the Danish Energy Agency in November to do a TV-spot on the Danish energy model and a TV-spot on the use of biomass in the heating sector. CCTV interviewed the Danish Minister of Climate, Energy and Building and visited a decentralised straw fired district heating boiler in Borup.
