Kick-start of Indonesian wind development
Indonesia makes use of Denmark’s experience in integrating fluctuating sources of renewable energy in the power grid. Last week, the Danish Embassy, Jakarta, and the Danish Energy Agency organised a workshop specifically targeting the integration of wind power.
Call for tenders on aid for solar PV
The Danish Energy Agency calls for tenders from businesses and private individuals regarding aid for 20 MW solar PV. A part of the tender is cross-border as 2.4 MW will be open to solar PV projects located in Germany. At the same time Germany conducts a tender on support for 50 MW solar PV, which is also open to installations in Denmark.
Danish government announces historically low bid for offshore wind farm
The Danish government published the winning bid in the Kriegers Flak tendering procedure today. The lowest bid came from Vattenfall Vindkraft A/S, who will establish 600 MW in the Baltic Sea at a tender price of 37.2 øre/kWh. This is an extremely low tender price - a world record for offshore wind turbines.
The Danish Energy Agency is introducing a new model for calculating economy of energy efficiency
To push forward the appreciation of economic advantages from tangible initiatives of energy efficiency, the Danish Energy Agency is now introducing a model for use in Denmark’s international cooperation on energy and climate. The model enables comparison of costs by reducing energy consumption to the corresponding costs by extending energy supply.
