LCTU webinar on Energy Efficiency in New Buildings

9. June 2013

The Low Carbon Transition Unit in partnership with Clean Energy Solutions Center, hosted 11th of June 2013 a no-cost webinar to introduce the Danish Toolkit on Energy Efficiency in New Buildings.

This webinar was an opportunity to learn from Denmark’s knowledge and experience on how to improve the energy efficiency of new buildings and address the barriers encountered. The toolkit also offers concrete recommendations on how to realize the energy efficiency potentials of new buildings.

Denmark’s longstanding and ambitious action in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy has substantially reduced the country’s dependence on fossil fuels. These efforts provide invaluable knowledge and experience. Denmark now provides a mechanism to share its experiences with other countries through the Low Carbon Transition Unit under the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Buildings. One of the services from this unit is a series of Policy Toolkits which can help inform decisions on green growth and greenhouse gas abatement.  Download the policy toolkit here.
