Energy Island Bornholm will be the very first of its kind and offshore wind power will be the first of the two energy islands.
Energy Island Bornholm is one of two energy islands from the Danish Climate Agreement (June 2020).
The next activity for the project is a Market Dialogue between the Danish Energy Agency (DEA), Energinet (Danish TSO) and potential bidders.

Market dialogue June-September 2023
The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) and Energinet is conducting a new dialogue for potential bidders regarding Energy Island Bornholm Offshore Wind Farm from late June to late September 2023. The purpose of this dialogue is for the potential bidders to comment on the draft procurement material.
The market dialogue will also include a technical workshop in October concerning overplanting and technical requirement when connected to the substations.

Market Dialogue from august 2022 to September 2022
The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) and Energinet is conducting a technical dialogue for potential bidders regarding Energy Island Bornholm Offshore Wind Farm from late august to late September 2022. The purpose of the dialogue is for the potential bidders to assess whether Energy Island Bornholm OWF is still considered attractive to establish within the current framework set for the project.
Participation in the Market Dialogue
The Market dialogue consists of a physical event, written feedback provided by the potential biddersand industry organization, and, if requested, individual meetings between DEA, Energinet and potential bidders.
