FIMOI project – Online Knowledge Exchange Seminar

The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) and the Indian National Institute for Wind Energy (NIWE) are currently working on financial modelling for offshore wind (FIMOI project) in India. The objective of the project is to collect and publish best available data for the Indian offshore sector to outline the current and projected technical and economic data for Indian offshore wind farms for the benefit of the offshore wind industry and relevant authorities.

The main objective of this online seminar is to have an introduction knowledge sharing between Denmark and India in order to gain knowledge on financial modelling and developing technology catalogues, including the various analytical and qualitative tools used for such purpose.

The seminar runs over the course of 2 weeks and it is divided in two parts composed of 3 sessions each week: Part I - Data collection and Technology Catalogue; Part II - LCOE Calculation of Wind Energy Projects. At the end of each part, a Live Q&A is organized, in which DEA staff and specialists will be available for answering questions and engaging in further discussions. The Live Q&A session will be hosted on Skype for Business and DEA will share in advance with the participants the contact details to dial-in.
