Offentlig høring af miljøkonsekvensrapport – Nord Stream 2 sydøst om Bornholm

Energistyrelsen har modtaget en ansøgning fra Nord Stream 2 AG om tilladelse til etablering af to parallelle naturgasrørledninger (Nord Stream 2) på dansk kontinentalsokkel udenom dansk territorialfarvand i Østersøen.

Energistyrelsen afholdt den 19. juni 2019 et offentligt informationsmøde om miljøkonsekvensrapporten for den sydøstlige rute for Nord Stream 2 projektet på Hotel GSH i Rønne. Se præsentationer og dokumenter fra mødet nedenfor.

Energistyrelsen har modtaget en ansøgning fra Nord Stream 2 AG om tilladelse til etablering af to parallelle naturgasrørledninger (Nord Stream 2) på dansk kontinentalsokkel udenom dansk territorialfarvand i Østersøen. Der er ansøgt om to ruter på kontinentalsoklen sydøst om Bornholm på hhv. 147 km og 164 km. Nord Stream 2 rørledningsanlægget planlægges ført fra Narva Bay i Rusland ned gennem russisk, finsk, svensk, dansk og tysk havområde i Østersøen til Lubmin nær Greifswald i Tyskland. Selskabet har opnået tilladelse i Rusland, Finland, Sverige og Tyskland.

Sammen med ansøgningen er vedlagt en miljøkonsekvensrapport med en række bilag med henblik på at belyse evt. miljøpåvirkninger i Danmark eller grænseoverskridende miljøpåvirkninger fra projektet i Danmark. Der er ansøgt om to alternative sydøstlige ruter i forhold til tidligere ansøgte ruter hhv. sydøst om Bornholm på søterritoriet og kontinentalsoklen, og nordvest om Bornholm på kontinentalsoklen, som selskabet ønsker at opretholde. Indeværende ansøgning er alternativer til den nordvestlige rute. Status for disse ansøgninger fremgår af Energistyrelsens pressemeddelelse af den 15. april 2019.

Miljøkonsekvensrapporten med tilhørende bilag er fremlagt for offentligheden fra den 15. maj 2019 til den 10. juli 2019, og sendt til de danske myndigheder og organisationer.

Energistyrelsen afholder et offentligt møde den 19. juni 2019 på Bornholm, hvor ansøgeren Nord Stream 2 AG også vil være til stede. Mødet finder sted på Hotel GSH i Rønne med start kl. 17.00. Mødet vil foregå på dansk og engelsk - Der vil være tolkning til rådighed fra dansk til engelsk / engelsk til dansk for dem der ønsker.

The Danish Energy Agency has received an application from Nord Stream 2 AG for permission to establish two parallel natural gas pipelines (Nord Stream 2) on the Danish continental shelf outside of Danish territorial waters in the Baltic Sea.

The Danish Energy Agency has received an application from Nord Stream 2 AG for permission to construct two parallel natural gas pipelines (Nord Stream 2) on the Danish continental shelf outside of Danish territorial waters in the Baltic Sea. There has been applied for two routes on the continental shelf, south-east of Bornholm, respectively 147 km and 164 km long. The Nord Stream 2 pipeline project is planned to follow a route from Narva Bay in Russia through the Russian, Finnish, Swedish, Danish and German Baltic Sea areas to Lubmin near Greifswald in Germany. The company has obtained permission in Russia, Finland, Sweden and Germany.

Together with the application, an environmental impact report is attached with a number of annexes in order to present possible environmental impacts in Denmark or cross-border environmental impacts from the project in Denmark. There has been applied for two alternative south-eastern routes in relation to previous applied routes, respectively south-east of Bornholm in Danish territorial waters and on the continental shelf, and north-west of Bornholm on the continental shelf which Nord Stream 2 AG wishes to maintain. This application contains alternatives to the north-western route. The Environmental Impact Report with annexes have been submitted to the public from 15 May 2019 to 10 July 2019 and have been sent to the Danish authorities and organizations.

The Danish Energy Agency holds a public meeting on 19 June 2019 on Bornholm, where the applicant Nord Stream 2 AG also will be present. The meeting will take place at Hotel GSH in Rønne starting at 5 pm. The language at the meeting will be Danish and English – Interpretation will be available on request from English to Danish and Danish to English.
